Thoughts for the pessimists
What makes your brain tick?
According to researchers, any part of your body, if you don't use it you lose
it, and particularly your brain, the more you use it the more brainy you become.
Antisocial Personality Disorder - Psychopath
What Defines A Psychopath?
Was poor bonding between mother and child the course of antisocial
personality disorder - psychopath?
Despite their reputation as mad axemen, psychopaths are far more insidious
members of our community.
With their ruthlessness, impulsiveness and chilling lack of remorse,
psychopaths can be found throughout society, from schoolyard bully to despotic
dictator.
It's estimated that around 3 per cent of the world population might show signs
of the condition.
Yet the cause of psychopath - 'antisocial personality disorder', remains a
mystery.
There is some evidence that the brains of psychopaths have failed to mature
emotionally, and hints that poor bonding between mother and child may be
involved.
It is more likely, however, that there is no single cause for this most
disturbing of personality traits - and perhaps no cure, either.
